Announcements 11/4/2021 -- This is a reminder that there will be a Student Council meeting today from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in room 201. If you are unable to attend, please let Mrs. Lewis or Ms. McCarthy know. B boys will practice from 2:30-4:15, A girls will practice from 4:15-5:45, and A boys will practice from 5:45-7:15. Athletic study hall will be held in room 107 from 2:45-4:15. If there are any B boy soccer players that still have their uniforms please turn them into the office as soon as possible. One act plays will rehearse every day after school except for Friday. Academic assistance will be held after school, sign ups are at the office window. In partnership with PCHC, a COVID 19 vaccine clinic for children ages 5-11 will be held at CCES on Nov 9 from 3-5pm. Information is coming home today to all parents of PreK-Gr6 students. Advance registration for the clinic is necessary. Do not come down during RTI without a pass. There is no one act play practice today. Tonight from 6-8 FOR Club is sponsoring a Halloween dance. While costumes aren’t to be worn to school, you can wear them to the dance. There will be prizes awarded for the best costume. Cost to attend is $3. Any student with 3 or more referrals or a suspension since the last dance is not eligible to attend. You must also be present at school on Friday in order to attend. Uniforms and jackets must be turned in by tonight. We will have our A-Team banquet and awards tonight at 5:00. Before the banquet we will have a fun practice from 3:00-5:00. Good Morning! We have been notified of our pool testing results for testing on Tuesday, October 26. We have one positive pool at CCES, three positive pools at CMS and two positive pools at CHS. All secondary testing is now complete and positive individuals have been identified. All pool participants and close contacts of positive cases have been notified. If you have questions please contact your school principal or one of our school nurses.

Good Morning! All of the follow up testing of our positive and indeterminate pools is now completed. We have not identified any additional positive cases in the follow up testing done yesterday or today. Thank you for your patience and I apologize again for the communication error yesterday regarding the indeterminate pool at CMS.

Correction to today's announcements: there is NO A girls practice today. Also, for Saturday the bus will leave at 8:45.

I apologize. I misspoke earlier. The indeterminate pool at CMS has not completed secondary testing. It is being done now. I will let the school community know if we are able to identify a positive in that pool. Again, I apologize for the error in my earlier message.

All pool testing results are confirmed from the lab. In summary, this week we had one positive pool at CCES, one positive pool at CMS and one that they were not able to determine as positive or negative. When this happens, we test all individuals in that pool. All individuals in the indeterminate pool at CMS tested negative. We also had four positive pools as CHS this week. All secondary testing and contact tracing has been completed and all parents have been notified.

Announcements 10/21/2021 Congratulations to the A Girls and A Boys on their playoff wins last night! Our Girls team beat Sedomocha 1-0 and our Boys team beat Lincoln 8-1, both are advancing to the championship game. The Boys game will be at 12:00 on Saturday 10/23 at Central and the Girls game will be at 11:00 on Saturday 10/23 at Lincoln. Girls bus at 9:45 Saturday morning. Coach Viani would like to congratulate the cross country teams on their outstanding season which ended yesterday at the Inland Championships. The girls were one place out from bringing home a trophy in a very close race: Girls receiving awards were: Addyson T, Sophia H, Lexie C, Desirae P, and our top girl was Katelyn L. Boys team was seventh overall with the following boys receiving awards: Jayden R, Connor L, and Zach R. Uniforms will be collected at the start of next week and there will be an announcement soon about our end of season get together. A Girls please bring $10 for coach’s gift and give it to Kailyse.
