Announcements 8/30/2021 If you are eating breakfast in the morning stop at the cafeteria first thing, do not go to homeroom first then come down for breakfast. A reminder for all students interested in band: please go to the music room during RTI today. *Weather Pending* Girls and boys soccer tryouts will be held today after school until 5:00. There will be a parent meeting today at 5pm. Field hockey tryouts will be today after school until 4:30, there is still time to sign up. Cross country will begin today until 4:30. Golf will begin after school today at Whitetail, and your ride will need to be there at 5pm. You will not be able to tryout or attend practice until all health paperwork has been turned in to the office. Please bring first day paperwork in as soon as possible.

Sports tryouts/practices start tomorrow (Aug 30) after school. THERE ARE NO ACTIVITY BUSES ON MONDAYS. Please have a plan for pickup. Soccer teams will have a brief parent meeting at pickup (5pm). We still need girls for Field Hockey.

We are prepared to have a field hockey team here at CMS! We still need some more girls to participate! If your child is interested please have them sign up at the office and bring home the paperwork.

Coming home with students today are several important forms. Although breakfast and lunch are free for all students this year, the District still needs you to complete the meal application. This information is used for SEVERAL grants and state funding. Please, please, please complete this form even if you think you wouldn’t qualify for benefits. Thank you!

Open field (practice) for boys & girls soccer will be held after school tomorrow. Girls soccer tryouts are Monday after school until 4:45. Boys soccer tryouts are Monday after school until 4:30.

Open House tonight 5:30-7, masks for students & family required. Friday, the 27th there will be an Open Field for soccer boys and girls after school until 4:30. Tryouts will be Monday after school. Make sure all health paperwork is turned in to the office!

We need an Athletic Director at CMS. It is an extremely important position - our athletic program depends on this position. Application available on our district website.

Students can find out who their HOMEROOM teacher will be by attending Open House (Aug 25, 5:30-7). Full class schedules will be given out on the first day of school (Aug 26).

Fall Sports SIGN UPS will be available at Open House (and at school on the 26 & 27th). Golfers will need their own clubs. Keep your eyes open for yard sales!
