Announcements 03/08/2023 -Student Council will have a meeting next Tuesday, March 14th at 3:00. Please plan to attend. -Sign up for this week’s Makerspace is at the office window. Try-outs will be on Monday, April 3rd. This will be for softball, baseball and track. If you did not play a Fall or Winter sport, please make sure you have turned in all your participation paperwork. Announcements 03/07/2023 -One Acts - Blue cast will rehearse today from 2:45-4:30, and silver cast will rehearse Thursday from 2:45-4:30. Please attend on your designated day. -Grade 8 math team will meet today afterschool from 2:45-4:25. -Congratulations to Carter Velgouse and Grayson Ainsworth, who represented Central Middle School at the Penobscot County Spelling Bee yesterday evening. Grayson was the overall winner, and Carter was the runner up. Both spellers will represent CMS at the Maine State Spelling Bee at Bowdoin College in Brunswick on March 25th. Good luck, Grayson and Carter! -Cheer will have their end of season banquet tomorrow at 6:30. They are the Penquis League Runners up for 2023! -There will be no athletic study hall today. -Cheer will have a district showcase this evening at CHS at 6:00 p.m. Admission will be by donation. Performances will be by: CHS cheerleaders, CMS cheerleaders, Central Youth Team and the Bradford Rec team. -Chess club will meet today after school. -Art Club will meet today after school. -If there are any grade 8 girls who are interested in playing field hockey next year at CHS, please let the office know. -The CMS Math team will be participating in a math meet at SeDoMoCha Middle School in Dover on February 9th. The bus will leave CMS at 8 a.m. It is anticipated that students will not return in time for lunch but may order a school bag lunch or bring their own from home.
