Today is a White day.
Attention students who work at McDonald's: there is tuition assistance money available. Please go to the guidance office for more information.
The University of Maine college fair is this Wednesday, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There are approximately 60 college and military representatives at the fair for you to speak with and get information from.
College representatives are also setting up times to come to Central High School to provide information about their schools and application process. The guidance office puts those dates and times on announcements at least the day before their scheduled visit.
If any junior would like to take the PSAT, please come to the guidance office this week and sign up. It costs $18, unless you are in Talent Search or Upward Bound.
Envirothon will have a brief meeting today after school. All those who love the outdoors and learning about nature are invited to attend.
Attention seniors: You will be receiving a pass from your advisor during the next three weeks for a senior meeting with your guidance counselor. It is important that you come to these meetings - you will get information and forms that you need for college.
School pictures will be taken tomorrow. All students will be photographed for school purposes. Please make sure you have your picture packet and money with you at that time.
Chess Club will be offered at CHS this year starting on October 12th! Students interested in joining must sign up through Google Classroom prior to the first meeting. The class code can be found at the office window. Students involved in sports may also sign up and attend Chess Club around their sports schedules.
5th grade science camp begins this Wednesday. All students who would like to lab assist need to get a permission slip from Mr Dennis in B1.
Ballroom dance class begins this Friday after school. Anyone interested in learning a variety of dances is invited. We will meet in B1.
