Makerspace is a collaborative workspace where every student is welcome to participate in a variety of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities. Students who participate in Library Makerspace will have access to a number of new technology resources including 3D printers, 3D pens, circuit building, deconstruction stations, virtual reality headsets, Lego builds, physics sets, a robotic arm, Raspberry Pi coding tools, Cricut crafting machine and others. In addition to STEM equipment, we also focus on art and making jewelry, wire art, working with fiber arts, creating duct tape art, black-out poetry, button making, ornament making around the holidays etc. Activities change from week to week, so be sure to check flyers hanging around school, and be sure to stop by for some hands-on learning and put your critical thinking skills to the test!
