Yesterday, CCES students and staff kicked off our Read-A-Thon with an in-person assembly. There was so much excitement! We were able to learn about our Read-A-Thon, watch an amazing video (which the students LOVED) from our staff, watch a reenactment of a book from four of our great teachers, listen to a read aloud from Mrs. Carr, and meet and greet a very special guest, Cat in the Hat! We are very excited about the outstanding progress of seeing our goals met! Here is a link to our staff video, take a look! https://youtu.be/xZQiI13RYqs

One of our grade 1 classrooms created disguises for this March's Leprechauns. Staff and students voted for their favorite Leprechaun in disguise. Our winner, with the disguise of a fluffy white Bunny Rabbit, was Elijah Lawson. Fantastic job Elijah! We had some really amazing contenders and it truly was difficult to vote for just one. Great job Grade 1.
