Thanks to a federal grant to increase afterschool opportunities for students, we have been able to purchase materials and start a Makerspace club at CMS. Students can stay after school on Wednesdays and learn lots of cool things with Mrs. Call.
During this week's makerspace students worked with electricity, motors, and circuits. They made light-up cards, put together circuits to make noises such as sirens, attempted an AM radio, and discovered that metal and water are good conductors of electricity.
