Announcements 1/13/22

– Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the 2021–2022 CMS Spelling Bee. This year's school champion is Zoey W, and the runner-up is Carter V.  Top grade-level finishers are: Grade 6 – Trevin J, Grade 7 – Zoey W, and Grade 8 – Sam K.  Both Zoey and Carter will represent Central Middle School at the Penobscot County Bee in February. Good luck to both of them!

– Congratulations to John C and Mason L for winning the grade 6 Hieroglyphics decoding challenge- both decoded 17 out of 35 hieroglyphics.

– A Boys will practice today from 2:30-4:15. A Girls will practice from 4:15-5:45. B Boys will practice from 5:45-7:15. Athletic study will be held after school.

– A Boys will be hosting Dexter on Friday, 1/14, at 3:30

–  A Girls will be hosting Sedomocha on Wednesday, 1/19, at 3:30 for the semifinal game.

– B cheer will practice from 3-4:30. 

– A cheer will practice 4:30-6:30.

–  Grades close tomorrow the 14th.

–  Academic assistance will be held after school today.  Please sign up in the office before 12:30 today. 

–  Friday the 14th will be Swinter day. Please show your support  for the student council by dressing partly for Winter and partly for Summer.

-- We have many items in our lost and found located in the lobby, please stop to see if any of the items belong to you or someone you may know.

– We currently do not have any cups available for use at the water fountains.  Please bring in a water bottle to use throughout the day.
