The Summer Programming and Workforce Coordinator at the University of Maine has announced their upcoming summer camps, designed to provide enriching and educational experiences for students in middle school during the summer break.

Their summer camps offer a wide range of activities that cater to various interests including:

  • Bear-Bots Robotics Camp: Get ready to unleash your inner engineer by designing robots! You'll work in teams to build and program a VEX robot.

  • Entrepreneurship Camp:  Learn how to turn ideas into successful ventures. Come up with innovative ideas, explore business models, marketing strategies, and pitch and launch your own startup concept.

  • Theater "Curtain Up:  Making Theatre Magic": Explore how theatre magic is made— both on stage and off! For the theatre-lover who can’t choose between being in the spotlight or behind the scenes, this camp will engage participants in a unique mix of performance, design, and tech activities.

Participation in summer camps can significantly benefit students by providing them with valuable learning experiences outside the traditional classroom setting.

Program fliers are available in the Documents section of the RSU 64 App.
